Visits to the Historic Dyess Colony: Johnny Cash Boyhood Home begin at the Dyess Colony Visitors Center, 110 Center Drive. Visitors purchase tickets there. The Visitors Center includes a brief film, exhibits, and a gift shop.
A museum next door in the Dyess Colony Administration Building tells the story of the Dyess Colony and how growing up in the Colony influenced Johnny Cash and his music.
